Candlestick Phone
thingiverse
I'm creating a replica of a vintage 1920s "candlestick" phone, tailored to fit snugly on a 1-inch PVC pipe stem. The hanger for the earpiece is crafted from bent aluminum, carefully shaped to rest just beneath the mouthpiece attachment on top of the pipe. To secure it in place, I've cut a precise channel into the pipe using a hacksaw, allowing the earpiece hanger to fit comfortably within its designated space. The "cord" itself is actually a thick rope, meticulously tied inside the earpiece and cleverly threaded through a small hole drilled directly into the pipe.
