This is a modern classic candle stick holder. We needed a couple for Christmas after we were given some nice candles.I printed them in PETG just in case (heat from melted drops of candle wax). As always, be careful with fire, you are completely responsible for your own safety. This candle stick holder is not a safety device and is itself combustible, how combustible de-ends on the filament! Take care not to let the candles burn too low. These were designed using OnShape CAD and consist of a simple closed curve that was spun around the Z axis after fitting the curve the curve to the correct size for the candles. It should slice out of the box with Cura or Prusaslicer (I used Cura 5.1) I used support over the build plate only from 45 degrees and up. This can be removed from the bottom later and is not visible in the finished product. Randomizing the Z seam can be a good idea for a uniform finish.Finishing: remove support from the bottom and sand with 80 grit sandpaper or a small Dremel drum sander. I used middle grey PETG and after sanding this gives a beautiful ‘cut stone’ like finish without needing any paint or primer. Although I used an all metal hotend with direct extrusion this approach is very forgiving of stringing and would probably work just as well with a Bowden setup.
