Candle holder designed for easy insertion, will slide over any candle less than 8 cm in width and 14 cm or shorter in height. Dual extrusion model currently under development allows for printing of a thin inner shell with contrasting color. In-house testing to commence within the week, resulting data to provide valuable insight into printing complexity. Update: Initial prototype completed using Candle_holder_3 file, 15% infill density achieved through Shells 2 structure, and layer height set at 0.2mm without support features. Makerbot Rep 2x showed signs of heat-related warping due to excessive back-side warmth, yet overall outcome appears satisfactory despite initial imperfections.
