This model was created from the Canadian flag, utilizing OpenScad. The OpenScad file is included, as I appreciate it when others do so as well. The design isn't highly customizable, but you can edit the OpenScad file if desired. The code is somewhat disorganized, yet here's a breakdown of the thought process behind the flag's construction: 1. Create the top triangle, which is an equilateral triangle. 2. Generate side spikes, also triangles, mirrored and rotated slightly, scaled by the golden ratio. 3. Repeat this process for the remaining two parts of the maple leaf. 4. Add the bottom spine along the leaf, a triangle as well. 5. Attach the stem to the leaf. 6. Build a box. This project has given me a newfound appreciation for the Canadian flag. Perhaps using cookie cutter dough that's better suited than what I used in this example would be beneficial. These models make great gifts when visiting relatives abroad!!!
