Canard airliner

This is a design I made for the flight mechanics class final project. We were asked to design a plane using X-Foil and Xflr5 to design and simulate the aerodynamics and flight mechanics characteristics of the plane. Unfortunately, we were told to optimize for Cl/Cd for a cruise speed of Mach = 0.6, and Xflr5 doesn't incorporate any compressibility corrections, only the interpolated data from X-Foil; so the plane behaviour in real life will probably be very different from the result of this software. As for the plane, I decided to go with a canard setup because I thought it had some good advantages for the conditions we were given. I was inspired mainly by the Rutan Starship The wings use modified HSNLF, Rae 2822 and DSMA 523a airfoils. In the images above, you can see the plane, and also the number of passenger seats that can fit inside the fuselage. There is also an image of a mesh I did for CFD simulation to obtain more realistic results of the plane.
