Canadian Car T48A Trolley Bus

This is a model of the 1951 Canadian Car and Foundry T48A trolley bus, as ordered by the Ottawa Transit Commission. The bus is of Brill design, and similar buses could be found all across North America. Print Instructions: The bus is modeled in full scale, which is just shy of 39' long, and can be scaled to your desired size. I print in HO scale, so I scale my models to 1.149%. (Note, the slicer will probably auto-scale the bus down. I usually end up having to set the scale to 1149%.) All parts are printed in resin except for the floor. I print the body with the nose tilted up ~40 degrees. Be sure to support the bottom edge of the body, the wheel wells, the window frames, the roof, and the interior walls. The floor is printed on a filament printer. Assembly instructions: The wheels are glued on to the chassis. The pilot holes in the roof of the bus may need to be opened up with a miniature drill bit depending on your print quality. Roof accessories are then glued in. For the windows I used clear styrene.
