The Canada 150 logo and typeface are available for use at no cost, provided that permission has been granted by the Government of Canada following specific instructions. Step 1: Purchase a solar-powered garden light that changes color. I bought one for $5 from Bianca Amor's Liquidation Supercentre. Canadian Tire also offers various options. Step 2: Remove the top ornament as we will be printing a new design. Step 3: Measure the diameter of the stem, height, and LED light carefully. Refer to the diagram in the photo for accurate measurements. Step 4: Launch the customizer software and input the measured values. Step 5: Print the shell, diffuser, and back in transparent ABS plastic, while printing the strokes and letters in red ABS plastic. Step 6: Assemble all components by gluing them together. First, attach the maple leaf-shaped diffuser to the shell (ensuring proper alignment), followed by attaching the back cover, then the strokes and letters, and finally secure the zero's center using thick glue from a hobby or RC store. Notes: - The purple "O" is an optional alignment tool for accurate placement of the zero's center. - A thicker maple leaf diffuser spreads out the LED light more evenly, reducing glare. - ABS plastic exposed to sunlight will degrade over time.
