The team behind the Can You Dig It Community Archaeology Project carefully constructed a 3D model of Trench 2 from the Moat Brae excavations, which aimed to uncover evidence of either Fergus Lord of Galloway's 12th century timber castle or the later 15th century Franciscan Friary. Led by the Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership, this community-driven project is dedicated to exploring and preserving Scotland's rich history.
