Can of Worms
thingiverse
This is a rather clever box (or more accurately, a container for larvae). We needed a suitable enclosure to store food for our bearded dragons and the ones we had were either too large or too small. This one fits perfectly (and can be adjusted in size if necessary). Initially, I made the walls thinner (1.2 mm equals three layers with a standard 0.4 mm nozzle) but they kept bulging so I increased the thickness to 1.6 mm which equates to four layers. What Simplify3D does is create an inner and outer layer and then fill the middle with a zigzag pattern, preventing the walls from bulging when printing with PETG. The lid features vents on top as well as sides, so stacking one container on another should not hinder ventilation.\r\n\r\n*Be aware: Some creepy creatures may exploit slightly rough 3D printed surfaces.*
