Can Koozie Coozie Cooler, Yeti Style with Tops
thingiverse
A couple Yeti Colster Can Coolers prompted me to create tops for various can sizes. Wondering why not make a bottom too? So, this is a bottom featuring Yeti-like threads. I printed it with a shell of 2 and 25% infill for double-walled insulation. Print the bottom upside down and tops threaded down – that should be the default position. PETG & PLA+ filaments didn't require support; results may vary. The top caps here are the same files as those shared in my other Yeti can tops post. For what it's worth, I've been told these threads work on other stainless coolers too. Update: Fine-tuning Added another bottom file (version 4). To reduce excess gap between the top cap and bottom, the inside depth increased by 2mm. The excess air space in the bottom was reduced by 2mm for a total height decrease of 4mm. While these designs were fun to make, I didn't like the bulky cover and awkward top lip, so I created a design that I prefer – check out my slim can covers here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3370281
