Camshaft Timing Tool for BMW N42 N46 N46T

Update - 04/07/2019 - Vanos_Gears_V2 (Vanos Gears_8mm_Counter) After using the tools a couple of times, I decided to modify them a little bit to make them stronger and more durable. I made some key changes: Set Shell & Top/Bottom Layers to be at least 2mm minimum (3mm is even better) for all three parts. I also removed the pin sections from the Vanos Tool and replaced them with 8mm threads for a counter sunk bolt head, allowing me to torque up to 20Nm and then two additional 90-degree turns that are required. Two M8x25mm Countersunk Allencap bolts are now needed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was searching all over the web for something I could print out to verify my Engine timing on my 2005 BMW E87 120i with the N46 Motor. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything, so instead of buying the Timing tool, I decided to borrow it for the day to take measurements and draw it out. Check out YouTube tutorials on how to use the N46 Timing Tool kit for information on how to use these parts. Make sure your TDC lock pin is inserted. These parts will never be as strong as metal but they can help with verification. Rather than keeping it for myself, I decided to publish it and hopefully it helps someone else out one day. I printed it with a 60% Infill and it works great. I had to split the larger item (Vanos gears) in two and then glue it back together because my print bed is only 220x220mm.
