This is a camera slider based around a sleek 2020 aluminum profile (B or V Slot type). It keeps the timing belt and endstop wiring neatly tucked inside the rail for a streamlined setup. Six 608zz bearings work together to form a double three-point grip around the rail, ensuring zero play. VERSION HISTORY 2019-06-22 Update 1 New versions of the endcaps are available: suitable for idlers with 16T M3 or 20T M5 gears. The 20T M5 option should resolve belt guide issues because 20T idlers typically come equipped with larger side guides. This design is also ideal if you already have a stockpile of 20T M5 and don't want to purchase additional 16T M3 parts for this project. Note that using a 20T gear may make the belt more prone to fluttering due to its increased distance from the inner surface of the 2020 profile. 2019-06-22 Initial release Endcaps are designed specifically for use with 16T M3 idlers. A known issue exists with plain pinion motors and belt guides. However, this does not affect typical NEMA17 motors with plain axles, as these often require a separate pinion and usually come equipped with built-in belt guides.
