Camping Rope Tightener

The objective of this project was to construct an effective figure 9 style rope tightener suitable for camping use. Figure 9's are generally available in most local stores, including Walmart, for approximately five dollars. This rope tightener has already been tested indoors, but a more comprehensive test is still required outdoors. I plan to conduct the outdoor testing this weekend, weather permitting. Simply print the design, add a suitable rope, and you're ready to go. Update: The figure 9 style rope tightener performed exceptionally well at Bonnaroo, securing the guide lines of our flag pole tightly for four consecutive days without any signs of loosening.
