Hey, I just designed a holding system for my VW T3 campervan and I'm really excited to test it out today. It still needs some testing but I think it's going to work great. If you're planning on attaching this setup to the roof of your car, I highly recommend using a strong adhesive glue specifically designed for vehicles like the one linked here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Z0MRD4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. This particular type of adhesive is suitable for all solar panels with an aluminum frame and I think it will do a great job keeping everything securely in place.
