The plastic clip is what keeps the lock's bolt securely fastened onto the cabinet frame, allowing it to open and shut properly. I attempted purchasing one separately but found out you can only buy these in conjunction with a brand-new lock mechanism. Specifications - 54 mm wide by 12 mm deep.
