<h1> !!!DISCLAIMER!!!</h1> <b> This print deals with <u> very high pressure </u> air tanks. Use at your own risk! I am not responsible if you wreck your air compressor or yourself. </b> <h1> The Problem </h1> My Campbell Hausfeld WL650000AJ 13Gal air compressor was leaking from the main copper pipe connecting the compressor motor to the tank. There were no authorized parts dealers near me, and o-rings weren't holding up under full pressure (125PSI). <h1> The Solution </h1> I decided to print this in NINJAFLEX TPU to ensure it would deform and create a good seal. I cannot speak to the effectiveness of other TPU filaments. The model was designed slightly different than the original to increase the seal's surface area. <H1> 30 day durability </h1> I can confirm after installing that these seals DO hold up under 125PSI, and maintained pressure for 24 hours. I have been using this for 1 month now, and have had zero problems. Keep in mind this is an oil-free air compressor, so your mileage may vary on other makes and models.
