Campanilismo
myminifactory
I'm pouring more focus into my production of fresh models, revisiting my visual aid from university about breaking into urban toys. This sculpture I crafted using Geomagic Freeform plus is called Campanilismo, a term I found on Wikipedia that describes an excessive and narrow devotion to one's city or country, which stems back to Italian history's contrast between towers of power and church bell towers dating as far back as Dante Alighieri. Campanilismo still serves as a fitting description for Italy's politics, where the loud bell rings out and the crowd listens intently.
