Camp/Throwing Axe Prop
prusaprinters

A quick Throwing Axe Prop I mocked up after going down the competitive axe throwing YouTube hole. It's made to print in two pieces without support.

I've printed it with the following settings:

.4mm nozzle

.2mm layer height

PETG

3 perimeters

6 layers top and 5 bottom.

Seems sturdy enough. Going to sand and wrap mine in leather later.

For the connection between the two parts I designed it with a .2mm clearance and slots for 8x3mm round magnets. They are a real pain to set in the head side of the shaft. I recommend just super gluing the two halves together unless you want to be able to store it in a smaller space. Pulling it apart and letting it lick together is very satisfying though.
