This is a replacement foot/boot designed specifically for three-pole folding camp stools featuring 1 inch OD poles at the bottom of their legs. Many users have encountered worn-out poles, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. That's why I created this alternative to the Chinese rubber boot. Two versions are available: The outside-fitting boot is easy to install and suitable for those with damaged (partially collapsed/damage) stool leg tubes. It provides a quick fix without requiring significant modifications. The inside-fitting boot offers more flexibility, allowing users to decide whether to add a washer between the foot/boot and the leg as a permanent solution or drill through the leg tube and inner boot to secure it with screws, pins, or rivets. This design ensures that the fasteners' outer surfaces remain in contact with the metal leg tubes, reducing the risk of wear-through. If there are popular leg diameters not covered here, please let me know. The design should be easy to modify to accommodate different sizes.
