Camp Chair Umbrella Holster
thingiverse
My roommate asked me to design something that would hold his umbrella while he sat in his chair, keeping his tailgate secure on campus. After five prototypes, this is the version I finalized. The holster attaches itself to one of the poles at the back of the chair and you can barely feel it there. The main body has four slots for 1/4" hex bolts. To make things easier, I used wingnuts as fasteners instead. A previous design had the hex bolts embedded into the body, but I quickly realized that was a bad idea when one print failed after 30 hours of a 40 hour print. This model was printed using HIPS from USAFilament in the United States.
