Camilla de Rescate (Rescue Stretcher)

Due to the devastating earthquakes that have recently struck Mexico, I created this straightforward stretcher design for open manufacturing in order to rapidly supply these essential items to all affected disaster areas. By machining a 3/4-inch plywood sheet using a CNC mill, you can produce two adult-sized stretchers and one smaller version suitable for children or pets. My students at Tecnologico de Monterrey Campus Laguna, located in Torreon, Mexico, brought this project to life.
