I'll never forget that first time I cracked open Sketchup, my mind buzzing with excitement. I was only 11 years old then, and this was going to be a learning experience like no other. As I fumbled through the program, trying to grasp the concepts of design and dimensioning, I felt an overwhelming sense of possibility unfolding before me. Little did I know, it wouldn't stop there - within hours, I found myself clicking "print" for the very first time on my little 3D printer, waiting with bated breath as the object slowly took shape beneath my fingertips. The wait seemed like an eternity but eventually, it popped out onto the table in front of me - and I was beaming with pride.
