Design Markus Boge & Patrick Frey. This shade-producing object resembles an oversized flowerpot holding a plant with large leaves: an artificial interpretation of a natural shade-maker. The 90 x 120 cm shade-sails, which are height-adjustably mounted on 300 cm long stainless steel rods, sway gently in the wind. The angle of the rods can be varied as well. The pattern of holes in the high-quality stainless steel base, which give the rods their support, allows for thousands of variations.
