Camera Z Bar Stereo Mount
thingiverse
This is my very first design in OpenSCAD, so I'm aware that it may not be perfect yet. I've included an STL file with the default settings from the .scad file, which should produce a z-bar to fit a pair of Canon SD1400 cameras as shown in the pictures. Hopefully, the parameters are clear enough that you can easily adapt them for any other pair of cameras you might use. I load my cameras with CHDK, switch one to inverted mode, and synchronize them using a remote control (connected via USB cable to a switch). Although it doesn't hold the cameras perfectly parallel, I use SDM to correct and fine-tune the results.
