Camera Tripod Nut Mount for Prusa Box
prusaprinters
This model is designed to position a 1/4-20 (camera) nut inside the Prusa-Box, facing the center of the heated bed. This allows attaching any articulated arm that has a standard tripod screw mount. I'm using it with a SmallRig articulated arm, but any standard camera rig should fit.Hardware Required:1/4-20 nut (1/4", coarse thread, i.e. tripod nut)2x m4 nuts2x m4 screws, 6mm or longerInstallation:Make sure the large hole for the 1/4-20 nut is clear of debris - it will be difficult to remove later.Insert the 1/4-20 nut into the large hole. It is a tight fit so will require some pressure. You can use a hex key to lever the nut into place.Insert two m4 nuts into the hex-shaped depressions.Secure the mount to the front-left corner of the Prusa-Box using the two m4 screws.
