One of the critical components of my trusty tripod PT-TPM665-C from Platinum, purchased at Best Buy, suddenly gave way - a crucial leg link had broken. Its original composition was aluminium, but I've decided to opt for a replacement made from PETG instead. You might need to apply some force to get the screw hole on the leg itself to cooperate, but fortunately it worked out smoothly in my case.
