Camera to GoPro mount adapter
pinshape
Use a standard camera with a tripod mount along with your GoPro mounts. I designed this adapter so that I could utilize my camcorder with all my existing GoPro mounts. You will need a 1/4-20 hex head bolt, exactly half an inch long, and a 1/4-20 nut to complete the setup. First, print one of each of these two essential parts using a 3D printer or any other suitable device. Secure the bolt into the main mount by applying epoxy, making sure it's fully inserted (tighten a nut onto the bolt until dry to keep it firmly in place). Next, apply epoxy to the nut and insert it into the finger nut, taking care not to get any epoxy into the threads. Once the epoxy has cured, simply screw the finger nut onto the bolt with the open nut side facing the mount. Your adapter is now ready for use. To secure your camera, screw it onto the bolt until it's pointing in the right direction, then tighten the camera down using the finger nut. This will allow you to attach your camera to any of your GoPro compatible mounts without any issues.
