Remix ground up designed a new pistol grip, this one has previsions for 2x standard keyboard switches for triggering shutter and focus separately. Grip is based on a Glock 21, with the switches at the trigger position. Mounting of your preferred quick release plate can be done with the 3/8 hole, there's some trickiness to this, but I'll elaborate with photos when Ive fully built and wired this design. The bulkiness of the top section was necessary as in testing the top edge above the rear 1/4-20 for the "stock" would shear off under even a light load.
