Camera stand mount for Nintendo Switch
thingiverse
A Versatile Mount for Nintendo Switch and Camera Stand The mount allows you to attach your Nintendo Switch to a camera stand, utilizing the 1/4" screw thread commonly found in modern cameras. The Switch's locking mechanism is used to secure it firmly in place, preventing accidental detachment. To ensure easy insertion and removal, the Switch is positioned slightly forward. For optimal performance, add a spring to the locking mechanism. A cut-in-half ballpoint pen spring works well as an affordable solution. You'll also need screws, nuts, and bolts for this project. The 4 larger holes in the frame are designed for M3 nuts and bolts (approximately 3cm long). Smaller holes accommodate tiny screws, with 1.5mm-2mm being a suitable diameter. The frame features slots on either end to allow for adjustable positioning of the bolts. This design enables you to fine-tune the fit as needed. During the printing process, a small support plate is included in the 3D drawing and STL file. This plate helps ensure proper adhesion to the printbed, but it should be removed after printing is complete.
