Camera Slider (old)

Mount your slider securely by first mirroring one side before printing it. Then, attach a 40x10mm L bracket to help stabilize the slider. Use 3mm grub screws to firmly secure the 8mm rods in place. Next, use four M5 bolts to mount the L bracket to both sides of the slider. Before you can start using your new slider, you'll need to drill a center 1/4" hole into it and cut a UNC gear to fit perfectly. Don't forget to also cut 1/4" gears into the center holes at the top and bottom of each side. This will give you flexibility when mounting your slider on one tripod (center) or two tripods (sides). You can even use your slider as a mount for a lamp, microphone, or display on top of either side. For added versatility, I've modified the design in V2 by adding M5 holes at a 45-degree angle into the feet, allowing you to insert threaded rods or bolts and dynamically extend the length of the feet when needed.
