Camera Slider | No special bearing
thingiverse
I've tried many different sliders and constructed them by myself. This fourth version is, in my opinion, the one with the easiest and most smoothest bearing I've used to date. The fundamental concept is the combination of tubes in various diameters. To build this slider, you'll need these profiles: - d_a = 10 mm - d_i = 12 mm (with an inner diameter of 10 mm) I've also added an internal profile for stability reasons. You'll need a 15x15 Profile to create it. To minimize friction, the arms of the carriage are supplemented with some furniture glides made from fleece. To secure your camera or tripod head, you'll need a 1/4" or 3/8" screw. The plugs are optional; you can add them if you want to attach nuts to fix the slider on tripods. You can also opt to add a motor and belt for an electric-powered slider. Happy printing!
