Camera slider jig
thingiverse
This is a project of mine in an attempt to build jig i can mount my phone or a raspberry pi camera on that will go around a track or along a track if that’s what you need. The star indent on the top can be used to mount a holder for any device. I uploaded the 8th version I’ve developed. The hex nut indents are m5 and the through holes fit m5 threaded rod with room to spare. 6082rs bearings are used for the 4 leg rollers. Springs were placed in between the part to provide outward tension on the rods. M5 Star knobs were used one one side while the other uses m5 nuts. This print saved me $500 on amazon and i hope it does the same for you. I’m using a router to cut out a large wooden ring and then using a rabbit router bit with a large space im going to cut the track into the side for the bearings to run along.
