Camera Slider carriage for rotation axis
thingiverse
I fabricated the parts for the Adafruit camera slider, but the carriage wouldn't hold onto the belt securely. Additionally, it was just a fixed platform. So I adapted the carriage design from JJRobots' slider design and created a hybrid model. This new design fits on the single linear rail of the Adafruit model, while also allowing you to mount a rotation motor, and you can print the top plate using the JJRobot's design as well. It works perfectly for me. I also printed a version of the 10-tooth gear for the JJRobot's design that doesn't require a flat on the motor shaft - mine don't have one, and it seems to grip well enough.
