Camera Slider
thingiverse
I built my own version of the Edelkrone Plus Slider and it turned out great: it's rigid, runs smooth, features a simple design, and machining the parts takes around 20 minutes. However, it's too heavy for the tripod, so I'll create another version. You can machine all the parts with a 3mm bit featuring two flutes. The precise part list: 4 x 300mm linear rail MGN12 with carriages (ideal for CNC and 3D printer applications) 2 x 300mm 20x20mm aluminum profiles 4 x M6x25mm screws 4 x GT2 deflection rollers 72 x M3x6mm screws 48 x T-Nuts M3 1 x GT2 Belt (one meter is sufficient) The total cost for the slider comes in at around $55.
