Materials: Oak dowel rods, 8mm in diameter, measuring 300mm in length, have been purchased. Skateboard bearings with hybrid ceramic construction, rated ABEC5, and featuring a size of 8x22x7, are required in quantities of five; specifically, the 608ZZ/2RS model has been identified for this purpose. Springs with an outer diameter of 12mm and made from stainless steel, possessing a thickness of 0.8mm, have a spring constant of R0.31N/mm/cm and are usable up to lengths of 115mm. Solvent waste pipe, featuring an outer diameter of 25mm and a thickness of 2.2mm, has been cut into sections measuring 154mm in length for this project's requirements. Various sizes of 3mm dowel pins have also been sourced for use in this application. In addition to these materials, specialized tools such as a jewelry drill and a pipe cutter will be necessary to complete the task. Shutter cloth is crafted from ripstop fabric that has been painted with multiple thin layers of blackboard paint. Using a paper guillotine, the fabric is carefully cut into the desired shape for the aperture. To maintain its form, metal stiffeners are required to support the aperture's structure.
