This is a custom-designed camera platform specifically tailored for attachment to the y-rod assembly of the Lulzbot AO-101 3D printer. The design utilizes the same bolt holes and nuts found in the T-Bar frame, requiring users to replace existing hex bolts with longer ones to ensure secure connection to the t-bar nuts. History: I currently employ Octoprint on a spare laptop, utilizing its camera to monitor prints remotely. However, I've struggled to achieve a clear view of the print due to poor camera quality and issues with network security caused by Yawcam, which I use as an intermediary for Windows-based setups. To address these concerns, I'm shifting away from using a laptop altogether by acquiring a Raspberry Pi 4 kit equipped with a superior camera module. To capture a detailed close-up of the print, I designed this platform to securely attach the new camera, streamlining my monitoring process and eliminating potential network vulnerabilities.
