These adapters let you attach a camera to the end of a 15mm plumbing tube. They come with a mount that screws onto something, while on the other end is a fitting where a tripod screw mount can be attached. An M3 bolt and wing nut hold the mount firmly in place on the pipe. I purchased one of these adapters from eBay at https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/263704643821. Having several of them scattered around my workshop means I can easily attach a camera by removing it from one adapter and placing it into another.
