UPDATE: I printed it out, and as I figured, the part doesn't have deep enough grooves to hold the phone properly. I used customizer to make this stand fit my ZTE Zmax smartphone. I haven't tried it yet, and I am concerned the phone is too big to work when not laying horizontal when making Periscope videos. I'll report back when I test it. The dimensions are for the phone only, and don't include my case. I'll break out the calipers to measure that later after I give this a go.
