Camera Perch
prusaprinters
A work in progress. This is designed to hold a small camera on the end of an old articulated lamp. Remove the business end, replace the 110v cord with camera cable, attach part B to the tubular end of the lamp. Part A bolts to B with a pair of M3 bolts; I'd suggest socket head cap screws with knurled caps pressed on to make them easier to turn. Part A is threaded 1/4_20 for a standard camera mounting bolt. The lamp provides elevation, swivel, traverse and tilt. The printed parts the camera and add yaw adjustment. The photo shows the attachment point for the parts: just remove the bulb end and lampshade and slide Camera_Perch_B into the hole. A bolts to B, camera attaches to A and you're good to go. How I Designed This =================== I make all the shapes in 123D Design and then I export as .dx to Fusion. There I add threads and export as .stl Category: Camera
