A work in progress that's designed to hold a small camera on the end of an old articulated lamp is underway. This setup involves removing the business end, replacing the 110v cord with camera cable, and attaching part B to the tubular end of the lamp. Part A bolts securely to B with a pair of M3 bolts; socket head cap screws with knurled caps pressed on make them easier to turn. Part A is threaded 1/4-20 for a standard camera mounting bolt. The lamp provides elevation, swivel, traverse, and tilt adjustments. Printed parts enhance the camera's functionality by adding yaw adjustment capabilities. The photo demonstrates the attachment point for the parts: simply remove the bulb end and lampshade, and slide Camera_Perch_B into the hole. A bolts to B, camera attaches to A, and you're ready to go.
