Camera Overhead Mount Accessories

I designed my overhead mount from a pair of 1/2" threaded pipes and fittings, which turned out to be quite affordable and allowed me to build it exactly the size I needed. Thanks to the threaded pipes, I could easily add more pipes to increase its size as desired. This collection includes various accessories for the overhead mount. The covers should be printed in TPU and attached to the feet of the stand to prevent scratching the floor. Due to the thickness of the "T" fitting, I had to print them with a slightly thicker wall. For the cam mount, I used M4 screws (preferably with hex heads) and wing nuts on the other side - this allows me to quickly adjust the angle of my cam. The 1/4" cam screw came from my tripod, but you can also print your own or purchase one on Amazon. The cam mount is quite sturdy and can be printed from PLA. Since I often have a light attached to the camera's hot shoe, I decided not to use a 3D printed screw and opted for metal instead. The cam mount can be adjusted to my liking - especially its width, which allows me to still access the door for battery and SD card. The attached version will fit the Panasonic Lumix G70. After setting up this system, it ran flawlessly for a couple of days without any issues.
