I required a solution for capturing overhead footage on my workbench. I initially considered installing a ceiling mount for a camera, but then opted for a more practical approach that didn't necessitate attaching unistrut to the structure of my house. I have a monitor stand featuring a single 1-1/4 inch inside diameter structural metal tube and removed its plastic cap, afterwards printing a 2-inch long bushing with a .475 inch center hole to accommodate a cheap articulating camera or microphone stand if desired for use as a mic.
