Camera Mount RC Plane
thingiverse
There are two possible ways to attach an FPV camera to your plane: tail mount or front mount. The advantages and disadvantages of the two mounting methods will help you decide which one you prefer. Tail Mount The tail-mounted camera provides a better view of your plane's wings, removing the propeller from view (assuming the propeller is in the line of sight). However, the center of gravity of your plane changes with the added weight of the camera on the tail. If you choose the tail-mounted camera, you'll need to move the battery forward or add weight to the nose to offset the weight of the camera. A tail-mounted camera wiring run will be longer. Nose Mount This mounting method gives you a perspective view of the world as if you're sitting in the cockpit. Mounting the camera closer to the front of the plane has a much lower effect on center of gravity, making it typically easier to install the wiring. The width of the camera you select is crucial. The front and tail camera mounts are designed to fit the RunCam Micro Swift camera or any camera with a width of 19mm. This project was created using Tinkercad.
