Camera Mount Hitec AEE Action Camera MD10
thingiverse
This is a custom 30-degree angle mount designed specifically for the MD10 camera sold by Hitec RCD, crafted to be printed in TPU materials such as Ninjaflex. Since no mounts were available for this excellent little HD camera, I took it upon myself to design one thanks to Hitec RCD's support. This mount is intended to be securely attached to the quad frame using zip-ties or Velcro straps. Your feedback on how you like it is greatly appreciated. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Airwolf 3D Printer: AW3D HD Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .15 to .3 Infill: 25% Notes: Printed with 3mm Ninjaflex on Airwolf HDx using a .5 nozzle from Matterslice. Extruder temperature was set at 235, while the bed temperature was maintained at 40 degrees Celsius. Two perimeters were used for this print, along with three bottom layers and four top layers. Infill speed was set to 20mm/s for interior areas and perimeters, whereas outside perimeter speed was set to 15mm/s. Supports were generated using lines with a 35-degree overhang angle, spaced 2.5mm apart in the X/Y axis and .2mm in the Z-axis. Support material was used throughout the print area. While removing support material can be somewhat challenging, using an exacto knife can help liberate stuck areas. A Dremel drum sander bit is effective for removing any leftover support material, while a carbide bit can be used to tackle smaller areas with ease.
