Camera mount for micro quad (UPDATED)
thingiverse
This is a camera clip designed specifically for mounting a 14mm wide FPV camera/transmitter module on a 20 x 20mm flight controller board stack, available at BangGood. These boards are marketed as having 20 x 20mm mounting centers, but the actual PCB size is 25 x 25mm. UPDATE: Initially, I had set the camera angle to 30 degrees, however my son, who received this gift, found it too steep and required flying at high speeds to achieve good forward visibility. As a result, I've added STL files for mounting the camera at 25 and 20 degrees off vertical. A slight overhang exists in the printed design; users can utilize supports if necessary or place the post at the center of the arms in their printing software to reduce overheating and prevent shelf deformation. To assemble the clip, carefully slide the arms forward onto the PCB assembly using a small screwdriver's blade to prevent them from catching on the components. Once positioned, squeeze the arms around the far posts to secure them in place. There is a slight lip on the flight board antenna guide; users can prod the antenna into the channel using a small screwdriver, which will keep it securely in position. The camera module is designed for a tight friction fit within its holder.
