Camera Mount For Durafly Tundra R/C Airplane

This is my first shot at designing a simple part for my Hobby King Tundra R/C Airplane. I wanted a good safe place to mount my Runcam2 or Mobius camera, and I'm not interested in taking any chances with it falling off the wing. Mounting cameras on top of the wing can be a bad idea - you might lose your camera if it comes loose, so I took some time to figure out a better solution. I use industrial strength extreme velcro brand velcro for all my camera mounts because it's tough and reliable. I'm also planning to design an optional safety strap feature into this mount. Don't forget that I'll be creating a version with a GoPro adapter for those who prefer using GoPros! This part was designed in FreeCAD, where I exported it as a .stl file before sending it off to Simplify3D for slicing. It's my second and final design - most printers should be able to print this out in under 50 minutes. Thanks are due to JohnVH Photography for the awesome Tundra photos that inspired me! And remember, TEAM C/L FTW! Print Settings: * Printer Brand: Prusa * Printer: Prusa Steel * Rafts: Doesn't Matter * Supports: Doesn't Matter * Resolution: .2mm * Infill: 30% * Notes: You might need to orient the mount on your printer bed in your slicer program. I used 1.75mm PLA for my print, but you'll have to check out the settings for other materials. Post-Printing: Note! Make a simple modification before installing the wings - I undersized the hole where the spar slides through, so you should be able to get a no-slop fit. Use an X-Acto blade to take off some material if needed. How I Designed This I designed this camera mount using FreeCAD
