Camera Mount for AGV K6 Motorcycle Helmet
thingiverse
Saw a company sell their own 3D printed GoPro chin mounts for around $35, so I thought I'd make my own for my helmet. The contour is not an exact match to the K6, but it's very close. With the added foam tape, it actually doesn't matter. I wanted to keep the mounting surface to the helmet as small as possible. I have access to the visor lock button as well as the chin vent switch below. So far it seems like it's holding pretty well. I used VHB tape to secure it. The camera is using a J-hook clip mount with a small extension. This gives me the freedom to reposition (tilt) as needed. This may fit other helmets depending on the shape of the chin bar. VHB tape is pretty thick so it'll make up for some gaps.
