To attach a microphone to my camera, I opted for the standard camera mounting platform and added a screw from any store. For precise, hassle-free printing, thermoforming was preferred over intricate layer-by-layer construction. This accessory can benefit various accessories, not just microphones. Thermoforming is accomplished by heating the material with a hot air gun (240°C or less) and then molding it into shape.
