Construct a budget-friendly, customized LED ring for macro photography with a NeoPixel Ring and Trinket, Adafruit's mini Arduino controller. Customize the color and brightness of the LEDs to fit your needs. The 24x NeoPixel ring offers an excellent way to create a spotlight effect in macro-photography by acting as a light ring, eliminating shadows caused by the camera obstructing the subject. To soften and diffuse the NeoPixel ring's LED, print the LED cover using PLA material on most FDM 3D printers, with an extruder temperature of 230°C. The model is designed to print with a raft or supports. Ensure your filament diameter matches your printer, commonly 1.75mm or 3mm.
