Camera Hot Shoe Cover

I notice that Nikon camera hot shoes feature small plates curving forward to facilitate easier clipping. Standard hot shoe covers have side lips along their length from back to front, and I believe if these covers remain in place for a long time, they may compromise the effectiveness of the hot shoe clips.\r\n\r\nThat's why I design short lips (5 mm) that don't press against the clips on the hot shoe. This solution is straightforward and uncomplicated yet performs its intended function by protecting the pins underneath.
